Just got a 1990 saab 9000 2litre turbo. It's due an oil change, the receipt from the last service mentiones "(silver) 10w40".
10w40 seems fine by the book but if this "silver" is a brand name it's new to me, does anyone know if it is synthetic or mineral?
Failing that should I use mineral to be on the safe side or synthetic because it's better for the turbo?
