Looking for a rollin chassis for a 64 convertible (0/1)

My 64 convertible has some undercarriage rust. I was thinking about starting fresh with a clean undercarriage. Maybe a bad idea, maybe a nightmare idea.

I think either JP or Lee D. might have a bare frame for you (not sure who ended up with it) if they're willing to sell; alternately, if your frame bottom plates are bad, ones for Avantis are made, so if you're into a full body-off resto your frame might be able to be fixed with Avanti parts.

good luck,

nate

One thing to keep in mind is that the convertible frame in additon to having the center X-frame also uses different body support brackets than the other models (see the frame section of the Chassis Parts book). So, unless you find a good convertible frame, you'll need to do some cutting and welding of these parts from your old frame to the new one.
