web site is migrating

all,

only a couple months after I've moved, I'm finally getting my web site over to its new server. The new address is:

formatting link
I know some of you actually use the interchange so I figured I'd post this. I'll post a redirect on the old one while it is still up, but I can't guarantee how long that will stay (I was piggybacking on my old landlady's account, and her house is on the market as I type this.)

I'll be getting a new email address soon as well, it will be njnagel at cox dot net but don't start using it yet, I won't be checking it until I can get my comcast email forwarded.

thank you for your support...

While yer atit... Do you know of a handy source for ball joint boots?

Yes, it's for my Honda beater which I discovered a loose joint on the driver's side as the source of some vibration I've noticed lately. I need a boot because I'm going to install one of my low mileage spare control arms, (it's an intergrated assembly), but the boot is toast.

Can't say as I do... on a vee-dub the ball joints as a whole are seriously about $15 apiece and three bolts and a pinch bolt to replace, so I just replace them whenever I have the knuckles off. I guess Honda bits are more expensive?

The ball joint/control arm are one assembly and genrally run about $70 which is not bad for 160K+ of use. But since I have two low mileage units, why buy new? I did find one generic at NAPA today so it looks like I'm in business for getting this done on Wednesday.
