Cut in leather seat, how to repair?

I've got a small cut in my leather seat. It's about 1/2 long and it didn't cut all the way through the leather. I'd like to repair it before it gets worse. What kind of glue should I use?

You can get a leather/vinyl repair kit made by Permatex at many auto supply stores. I got one at Wal-Mart. It includes about 6 small jars of patching paste in various colors. You mix a small quantity of the pastes to get as close as you can to the color of your leather, apply the mixture, place a texture sheet over it, then use a small tool to heat the other side of the sheet. this sets the mixture. Everything you need is in the kit, which (if I remember correctly) cost less than $15. It worked for me on a much more extensive leather repair. The hardest part is getting a good color match.
