That's BS. Honda Fit mileage is not any better than that of Civic. Meaning less than 30 mpg highway with A/C on. Check out the fallout in the honda newsgroup. I suggested Fit earlier because it has a 5 door trim and Civic (which is a much better car imho. despite the penalty seats) does not. I just noticed that the $10-12k Aveo has an mp3 player that my $19k special edition OBS with 6.1 speaker speakers does not :-D Aveo has the worst shifter on the market though, according to C&D. I should remember that before the next round of FHI transmission bashing.
You sure those figures are trustworthy? Measured with A/C on? Heck, the federales would like you to think that the US inflation rate is in single digits. Maybe in Montana...
