Apology accepted, but please remember, Usenet is a TEXT based medium where one doesn't attach files or post HTML (as opposed to forums where that's appropriate.) Pretty simple concept. It's been that way since the get go and I doubt it'll ever change. It's not that certain browsers/newsreaders are touchy--they work fine for what they're supposed to do: read text! Some groups get downright grumpy if you don't "follow the rules!", but folks here are generally fairly polite about such missteps... at least once? ;)
