Strangely enough its virtually the same colour as gaffer tape. I reckon 2 rolls should be enough to cover the gaps :)
Damned things made of carbon fibre, some mesh and fiberglass should substitute nicely - I reckon it'd not cost much to get it into enough shape as a posemobile.
