You can find your keyring at night? ;-)
What kind of root system do those trees have? The native Water Oaks have a large, shallow root system. If you went through that and the tree comes down, the power line will be pulled out of the ground. Central Florida is full of the lousy things. Developers have been removing all the Water Oaks from new developments, and planting Live Oak trees to replace them, after all the construction is done. Their roots go deeper and don't spread out as much as the Water Oaks.
oh, please - you can't point out things like that in this thread gerry. you're supposed to whine and complain that it's impossible to bury anything because it's a "right of way" problem and a taking of land and prohibitively expensive.

Oh, you meant flashlights. I have a lot, but w/o my glasses, I can see them either!

No, only four pairs.
I can find the flashlights in the dark, nd can see well enough without glasses to navigate around the house with the small flashlights.
The Norway Maple on my front lawn is dead centre over the cable route. OTOH, the one in the side lot line easement seems to have raised everything under it somewhat as Ma Bell discovered when they thought I might have damaged their cable by piling surplus topsoil on the easement only to discover after killing the TV and Phone service to the subdivision that the faulty pairs that they were investigating were on old records as being due to their own old "T" splice up to a pedestal in the back corner of the neighbours yard. They had been quite certain that they had me by the "short and curlies", but did thank me for supplying ice water and washroom facilities to the crew. Gerry :-)} London, Canada

You sleep in them?
That's when I reach for the flashlight beside the reading lamp. Gerry :-)} London, Canada
I knew there was some hope for you! ;-)

I've tried sending him for the flashlight, but he just looks at me and says "Do I look like a dog?" Besides, it is light enough for me." I find that I can use the screen of the iPod to illume things enough to find things.

Finally! A use for an Ipod.
Buy a few of those Clapper gadgets. (as seen on TV) CLAP CLAP your hands, lights on, lights off. cuhulin

FWIW, my compressor came with an air ratchet. Not something I'd have ever thought to buy but it's great for running nuts up. OTOH, it also came with an impact driver that has so little impact that it works for the same purpose.
But the Stryker isn't really a tank anyway.
