If I'm reading that story correctly it is operator error, not a faulty part. If you're trying to open the door and at the same time hit the door lock I would expect this to happen. If this is odd behavior then every Blazer, Jeep and Dodge I have driven has the same problem.
Now if you hit the button and the locks don't move until you hit the button a second time and you did nothing other than hit the button, THEN you have a problem.

Oddly, my last Impala would do exactly that. Peeled back my fingernails a few times trying to open a locked door, until I just got in the habit of pressing the button about eight times while walking towards the car. stupid car.
