The CD player is one of those 3 disk in dash, I have couple of cartridge in which you can insert 3 cd's, my problem is it won't play CD's, while I was troubleshooting it did play once but then it stops, it is also kind of hard to eject the cartridge, I push eject and nothing happens, any ideas.

Agreed, so what are my options, I do need a cd player but don't want to spend a lot of money, any good replacement option.

Aftermarket or OEM single/6 CD. If you want to play MP3 CDs/SAT radio or hook in an IPOD-like player then aftermarket is best bet. Check out Crutchfield's to see what will fit.
