My Camry will not pass emissions tests due to a bad cannister. Does anyone have any info on the difficulty of replacing this and its pump?

The charcoal canister is not difficult to replace. You can get online access to factory repair manuals at techinfo.toyota.com for $10/day.
I'm sure somebody at you local Toyota dealer will know how. Have you tried them? ;)
