Another Tip for Scion Owners

I haven't read the manual yet (Shame on me!) So I don't know if this is in there or not. I doubt it.

If you have a Pioneer Head Unit with the SSP "Three setting EQ" you can change the overall settings of the three EQ settings (neutral, Hear and Feel). They are actually 'tuned' for the different cars.

Hold the SSP button for about 5 seconds or so, until the unit beeps. The display should say something like "Car Type tC" or "Car Type xA". Pressing the up or down volume button changes the setting. The xA has a very high sounding setting, the xB is a bit more middly, and the tC is 'mellow'. On the xB setting, I have to turn the volume DOWN from where it is on the tC, or I blow myself out of the car!

So, tune to your ear! I'm trying to see if there is a way to change the settings for the 'car types', since the tC isn't 'present' enough, the xA is too 'tinny' (for me) and the xB is a bit too much middle.

I'll let you know! ;)
