I met Don once. He's a real person and a great comic.

I wouldn't kiss a dog but I'd kiss a pussy........cat.

It's a silly place but someone's gotta rule it

I don't care what you do with your mouth. You can haul coal in it for all I care.

"You darn kids stay out of my yard!" lol

It wasnt supposed to be taken seriously.

Health rule of thumb, the main reason kids of today are getting less and less resistant to illnesses is due to people being over-careful about keeping them clean and safe - and this is yet another of those cases. Sure dont let it lick your mouth, but then if you actually have mouth-mouth contact with an animal you have other issues to worry about other than health.

I never said they were, but its more prevelent in chunky white females than skinny ones, and it aint sexy for sure!

Philip! Your caustic sarcasm ahs been sorely missed. Well, maybe not ;)

This reminds me of a case I saw in New Hampshire, where this family kept getting strep throat. The doc asked if there were any people in the house frequently, that are likely to share food or drink with them, and they said no. They said the only other occupant of their home was the dog. The doc tried to get the vet's office to do a culture of the dog's throat; they refused, so he had the family bring the dog to the back door of our office (We grew our own throat cultures) - you guessed it; the dog was the carrier. The dog never got sick, but he was the source of the strep, and like most dogs, he licked the family members' faces, thus re-infecting them. Once the dog was identified as the carrier, there were no more cases of strep throat in that family!

Wild, huh?

Natalie, ever amazed by her career

*snipping the rest*

OK...you disagreed and then you agreed? So which is it? This is an example of overprotective or it's not?

That's true.

(on their part lol)) is harmless and hardly an issue, but was suggesting the letting them sit and lick your face/mouth areas is a bit on the grim side and more likely to end in tears. It just depends on your definition of kissing your pet. Hence my comment that if you are mouth-mouth kissing a pet you probably have other problems to deal with, like your therapy bills.
