When the Russians were supplying him with weapons, he killed 3000 members of the Iraqi Communist Party. The Russians continued giving him weapons. He was a thug.
He was a thug when Rumsfeld was photographed with a big smile, shaking hands with him. Apparently, he was the thug we needed at the time.
You really need to widen your sources of information, and your exposure to history. Nothing's as simple as your president wants you to believe.
You need to take a break. Go chop some firewood or dig a drywell. Good manual labor, getting your hands dirty and making some blisters will make you feel like you've done something today rather than sitting on your ass typing foolishness on your computer.

My support of terrorists? This country gave shoulder fired anti-aircraft missiles to the Taliban. Sounds like national policy to me.
