The color of their skin is irrelevent. My comments would be similar if the kids were in any of the states where I have taken care of kids, including NJ, PA and MI.

Most CO2 is in the atmosphere. When wood and other fuels burn, the CO2 goes up in the smoke.

CO2 gets converted into sugar by plants through photosynthesis. But when that happens, it's no longer CO2.

There are plenty of sources in the field of archeology and climatology that strongly disagree that man is doing anything, of any significance, that is more than marginally effecting the earth temperature. Even more of the earth scientists believe there is little man can do to materially overcome the changes in the forces of nature that can and do effect the average temperature on earth and have for billions of years LOL

That's another often used comment that is completely false. The far right automatically labels you as "politically driven" everytime you express concern with the environment. They accuse you of socialism in fact. I believe there is something wrong with the environment but do not agree with Kyoto or the other so called solutions.

There were 3,000 scientist who disagreed with E=MC2 too. There were countless philisophes who didn't believe the world was round too.

No one claims global warming and cooling are not natural processes Mike. No more than salt intake is a natural process for human being. However, if you eat 10 times the salt you are supose to have then you will end up having a heart attack.

Of course most CO2 is in the atmosphere but the question was at what is the percentage? If it "goes up in smoke" how does the CO2 content of the atmosphere increase and warm the planet, as the environuts want us to believe? What is the difference between CO oxide and monoxide? Is it not a fact that when nature itself burns wood in forest fires, it produces far more greenhouse gasses than the burning of all of the fossil fuels in the world combined? Do you know what produces the most greenhouse gasses in the state of California? The 'environmentalist's in this NG would like to know ;)
