"Soccer mom" backlash

Yep. Tomes

I know what you mean. I have this urge to buy a MiniCooper-S, but only if I could get a custom plate that said something like "NOT-GHEY" (you have to be sneaky with the state sensors). :)

LOL. I saw one today that said, "Left Him"

She also had a sticker that read "Psycho Bitch"

I'm guessing a really nasty divorce, but at least she's taking some of the blame.

:-)

"JoeSpareBedroom"...

Now why would I try that? I don't know how to play any instrument - except my husband's heartstrings.

;-)

"Tomes" ...

Watch out - you'll soon start getting hot flashes and irregular periods.

Sorry, couldn't resist.

"Tomes"

You had a "Mirthmobile"? ("Wayne's World")

The original pregnant roller-skate, to which my Echo owes thanks.

Natalie

With the 304 and 4 speed? Those things would haul.

But, it's *NOT*! It's part SUV and part car! See, it's like a mini SUV, but it drives like a car and gets gas mileage like a car, too!

(Chances are, it's also butt-ugly...

Of course, then again, I have a tendancy to buy cars I like, too

Yeah, I guess image might have a 'little' something to do with it, but I like having unique cars, and I really Like Toyotas.

I want to get a plate for my Supra that says, "SML PNS" since everyone thinks that you're making up for something.

I'll be glad to show them otherwise! ;) (Er, ladies only, please...)

(oops...I'm thinking Pacer...)

With the front seats that folded down to meet the rear seats? ;)

My college roomate had one. Hey, I'll trade you the Corolla for the Pacer. You got a date tonight, eh?

The Gremlin was a cool car, but the interior looked like it was designed by an old man...

HEY!!!!!

(I'd be stylin' driving Trish around...)

Fingers just ain't up to the task anymore?

One thing I'm glad is that I don't have arthritis...yet...

But I do have carpal tunnel, and I've lost a bit of my speed...

Nasty Honda Odyssey rollover on 495 today...

LOL not if Craig has his way...

I had trouble convincing my spouse that minivans were safe because of news reports about the rollover problems of regular vans.

Minivans do have a good safety record. It might be because large engines aren't available because of the small engine compartment.

I would like to see a hybrid minivan, and I am sure that a lot of other people would also.

**************

Toyota has been selling the hybrid Estima van in Japan for a while. I think the reason that a North American version has not been introduced is the lack of production capacity for the battery packs. As production capacity increases, more and more hybrid vehicles will be introduced.

Here's a test for you: Would you be OK driving around in a Honda Element?

Bill Putney (To reply by e-mail, replace the last letter of the alphabet in my address with the letter 'x')

OK, I don't care if a car is "cool" or not, but I ain't driving something that makes me vomit.

Natalie

It's still a crossover -- between an ice cream truck and an AMC Pacer. No wonder Pontiac means excitement.

Not me - I hate suicide rear doors. Plus the Element is alleged to have a poor ride and handling and to be noisy and slow.
