Hi all,
I've been searching for the solution to my problem, but have gone no where yet.
Basically, when the weather, here in Canada, gets hot in the range above
30 degree C, the car gets problem starting:
- Starter cranks OK, but the engine won't pick up, no engine light nor error code. If I take a break for a few minutes, retry again with gas pedal to the floor it may start after a few tries.
- Once the problem appear, the car also has difficulty when accelearate after a slow down or (traffic) stop (engine hesitate or even die out)
The car is generally in good shape, rarely missed a start even during cold winter. I have tried a few things: new PVC, air filter, checking distribution cap, wires, spark plugs... but still have that problem when the temperature is high.
Anybody has dealt with this problem or has any idea to why ?
Thanks,
