The big, fat Tacoma

No, long trips and hauling lots of friends around. I can get 4 comfortably in the Corolla w/ almost no Ren Faire gear. I can seat 6/7 in the Previa and lots of Ren Faire gear. That's practically every weekend in the summer. We originally got it because one of the people sharing the apartment didn't fit in the Corolla and we spotted this on a dealer's lot. One other vacation, we've been to S Dakota with 5 people and a weeks worth of laundry, etc. The Previa gets 20-22 mpg even with the SuperCharger.

I was being facetious, dude. *NObody* 'gets' me

If I'd have known, I could have lent it to you, I can't drive for another 2 weeks.

You mean you don't even let your husband get you now and again?

PS, we did use it the last move we made. We looked like the Beverly Hill Billies with everything filled up, tied on top and on back etc.

Well, at least it's prepped. (Yes, they prep THAT, too for bypass operations.)

Yes, I know. TMI. TMI TMI, danger Will Robinson, all that jazz. . . .

Mostly what we had tied on were various bicycles. We had already filled a moving truck and emptied it. This was just the stuff we couldn't get on the truck.

What's worse is since the operation, my blood protein is low and all my hair growth has slowed WAY DOWN. I'm just now starting to itch, and it's been 18 days. The hair on top of my head has got real thin and almost fluffy. I need to go back to eating peanut butter twice a day. . . At least I didn't go bald, thank God, and it hasn't changed color, so far.

I'm already eating meat at all 3 major meals. For dialysis I need 10 oz a day, I'm trying to make it more. At least I'm back to eating full meals again. I think I really do need to join PETA: People Eating Tasty Animals.

Heh - the Atkins diet is dying a much-deserved death, IMO:

But you really do need more meat than carbs for your condition

Natalie

So I was Atkins before Atkins was cool? I was country, when country wasn't cool, too.

On the cutting edge of societal evolution, yet again.

Charles of Kankakee

As was many diabetics hehehe. That diet was just the ADA diet revamped.

LOL - not if your knuckles drag the floor, Charles...

Natalie

Nah, he stole it from us, we had it first!
