It looks like it's about to hit the ground on the new Camrys.
Any ideas?

It is that way on the last three generation Camrys. My guess is they continue to use the same exhaust pipe system without redesigning it to fit properly.
A straight back pipe would resonate causing vibration and exhaust noise --- hence the engineers designed it that way. Straight would have been cheaper to produce.
thanks, but why is it so low to the ground. It looks like it's about 8 inches under the car and only about a foot off the ground.
