2004 Toyota Camry

I just purchased an adapter to play mp3s in my car.

It connects through the back of the car stereo (OEM, non-JBL). The first step is to "remove radio". Any suggestions on this? I searched on google a bit but only found pay sites.

You'll generally find there is a decorative plastic surround piece that can be pried up from the hidden clips at a corner exposing the fasteners that secure the radio. Or a local shop that installs stereos could show you. (Best Buy, etc.)

Use a screw driver and pry up the bottom edge of the HVAC controls. There are clips on the bottom and hindges out the top. Once that is out, the srround w/ the air vents pulls out. Then there are 4 bolts holding the radio in

I wouldn't have guessed that, but it worked like a charm.
