i need help on getiing the cd player out, and if i need to buy an installation kit for a new cd player.

Gently pry the trim from around the old radio to get access to the 4 screws. If you are replacing the complete head unit with a non-OEM one you'll need appropriate mtg bracket, pocket and adapter plug ($20).
