Does anybody know whether the JBL 6 in-dash CD changer can play MP3 format? Also, is it capable of playing audio tracks stored on a DVD?

The radio would have to intentionally be designed to handle MP3s. It would need a special decoding program to read them. Since it is not advertised to read them, I would doubt it would. It does not pay to invest in the technology and tell no one about it. It sure would be nice if it would play.
