As far as exterior dealer stickers, when a new customer would show up in the service lane with a competing dealers sticker, we were required to ask them if we could remove it and install our sticker.
A fellow there used what looked like a rubber grinding wheel attached to a drill to remove the sticker. I never saw it damage anything.
As for the internal stickers, best to leave them alone.
