Does anyone know how much oil a 22R rising sun engine takes? Does the size of the oil filter matter?

the oil filter matter?
>5 quarts. There are 2 sizes of oil filter that will both screw onto the mount. The smaller one is usually recommended for 2 wheel drives and the larger one for 4 wheel drives.
Personally I use the larger ones on my 2WD's.
