I went and looked at a super tonight , I was told that it ran but the left hand side has the head bolts stripped out of it but it still runs but doesn't have much power. It has also been in the ditch and dog tracks a slight bit in the front end. I also has its normal floor pan issues but not bad. If it runs, has a title, original engine , is it worth $350 ? Thanks, Raz

What is probably the problem with the front end ? What if it is what I would call the front "T" pillar of the frame ? Can that be straightened or is the car pretty much toast ? Thanks Again, Raz
Evidently you guys don't think it is worth $350 or someone would have responded. Maybe I should pass.
Well, to me it sounds like it might be worth it for parts. It is a super, after all. ;P
I tried to resp It's hard to know without seeing detailed pictures but it doesn't sound to me like it's worth $350. Sounds like it has lots of issues. When you say "in the ditch" does that mean someone ran it off the road at speed? Where are you located? That can make a difference in price/condition since an east coast/northeast car can very well have major rust issues, where an Arizona, So. Cal., etc. car might have none. That is, if you're in the US.
I'd personally buy it just for parts or to gamble fixing it at that price.
Make sure the title vin matches the tranny tunnel, dash vin, and vin on the door jamb, etc. Might just be bent tie rods, balljoints, etc in the front. Install some case savers to fix the stripped side. Also check the heater channels, make sure the door pillars are not rotted off at the floor, etc. Also look over the underside for ditch damage. If you plan on making this a driver again.
Here's my question.. ok with the one side of the engine stripped, compression would be real low. How'd this guy drive it into a ditch like that? So check the underside to make sure the studs weren't stripped, or parts cracked from going into a ditch. It could be a pile of rubbish. I'd personally only be buying it myself for the engine parts. Like the heads, tins, and carb, etc.
Like everyone else says, best to see detailed pictures.
