Hey, all -- I've got a '79 Superbeetle, and my accelerator cable snapped. Should I get just the cable, or are there other things I should be considering while I'm at it? Also, where *does* one get dies for keys? (Oh: and my Schilton's is at home; anyone know where I can look up what part number to order for my cable?)

I think all you'll need is a cable. A good locksmith should be able to get blanks for the keys, if not, they can be ordered
'79 (US) is/was fuel injected. These use a special cable .
