Sometime before I bought my 67 some moron swapped the entire front end out for a later model one. I was unsure what year it came off, but I am assuming (going with the odds) that it is mid-68 or later...But I had no real way to tell until now! While disassembling the beam to install my front end adjusters (and possibly narrow it, still trying to decide) I found a number stamped into the right shock tower. 8958011. It is definitely a ball joint model, with 4 lug brakes. Anyone got any ideas what year it came from, or where I could find out?
