Horn help needed

Oct 25, 2003 2 Replies

My '60 is using a later steering column, I htin it is out of a 62-65. It has a a wire running up the center tube that then crosses over the coupler. The wiring was ripped out of this beast when I bought it, so I am not sure how I hook up the horn. I know a hot wire goes to the little connector on the column, but where do the wires come from that connect directly to the horn?

Hot wire from Fuse goes to the Horn. The *other* side of Horn goes to the little connector at the bottom of the outer column. When you press the horn button (ring), ground from the steering box gets applied to the outer column to complete the circuit.
