After 3 yrs and 2 mos, I put the (rebuilt) SP engine in and started it (last weekend). This weekend, with a good friends help, I fixed a nagging steering problem. I ACTUALLY DROVE IT AROUND THE BLOCK!!!!!!
I might actually get to a couple of October shows if can finish the interior and top..

I am envious. Mine 70 KG Vert has set in my garage for almost a year with little done to it. Maybe I will get busy now that I know it can be done
