If it works for you, tell me how you got the bottom pivots off....

Does anyone know the specs for the rivets on the vent wings... or > where I can find them? Specifically, I have a '64 sedan and I'm > trying to replace the vent wing locks. I'd like to know the sizes > before I drill them out. > > Thanks, > Mike > > -- > Posted using the

Lee,

Do you mean the pivots (posts the vent swings on) that are attached to the vent frame?

Hi Grahame.

I mean the bottom pivots. I drilled out the top rivets, but the bottom pivots have some sort of attachment that comes up from inside the door. I can get my fingers on it, and I'm sure I could just get it out of there, but I want to make sure I can't get out of there without screwing it up before I screw it up by taking it out the wrong way.
