Exactly, the reason why it didn't get further is probably the pressure from oil companies who wanted everyone to use their wonderful products, and now everybody is surprised that a car can actually run on french fries oil. I think the idea of a car stopping at the road dinners for fat kicks ass. What about Brazil? I was told that many cars are/were running on potato alcohol, does anybody know anything about this?

Besides this was done a few years back by a couple of lil old ladys. If I remember right they took Rte 66 from west to east...

Better to use the oil in busses than to rape turnips. Though to rape these plants, you need to have=20 quite small plumbing.
