Don't know about anyone leaving or coming, but I think the worst=20 last flame war has been about hand guns. Was not too bad and hot, but some at least.

And what else (what I remember happening lately).

Travis has busted his Glock hand gun. I have busted my leg. Jan has busted a ricer engine. We have looked at pictures of Tim Rogers' shiny tip. Speedy has answered some electrical questions. Eduardo has been doing an engine rebuild on his -61 Beetle. =20 And other stuff, I did not read and comprehend so carefully.

Almost forgot

Kirin visited Jan in Finland and has supposedly returned home in one piece and still breathing. I think he will never be the same though after that trip ;)

Speaking of Dad, thanks again for the encouraging words. The funeral was Wednesday and the funeral home did a great job in every way. It is the cemetary that I have a major issue with.

The freaking day after burial, they call my mom and want her to come in a do a customer satisfaction survey. The guy at the funeral home warned us that they are commission salesfreaks, so they will try to sell any add on things that they can. I just did not expect the vultures to come swooping down so soon. I told my mom not to go, but she did. They did give a subtle you can plant a tree or buy a bench type of thing. I am sure they are not done yet, and will be contacting here again. They also had the nerve to ask for referels of anyone who might be interested in a cemetary lot. Mom gave them mine and my brothers name. When I see that name come up on the caller ID, I am going to answer the phone and give them a reaming that they will never forget, and tell them never to call my mom again, and I will stop payment on any check she writes if the bank will let me do it. It is deploable (sp) that the try to shake down the grieving elderly widow.

They orginally had her come in before burial to sign a consent form for burial. The funeral home guy told us that it was not really necessary, but a way to sell people grave markers. My parents had pre-paid their funeral several years ago, so they did not get any greenbacks from that visit.
