I have two w decklids. One has a raised ridge on the center of the W, from the top down to the end of the license light. The other has no ridge. The first one is the original on my '56 (early '57), the other was salvaged from a '58 unknown serial number. What cars were the two styles used on?

I can see how it could be a transition decklid for perhaps a 58, but the only other later styles I've noticed up through the 66 have had the squared-off bottom below the licence plate area. Any other thoughts on this?
