Well...I've had it with the ******* 009 dizzy!

Ok. I hate the stumble and/or hesitation. It never goes away. Youknow what? I finally realized that the concept of the 009 mechanicaladvance is completely wrong for the kind of driving most people do ina STOCK bug. I can understand how it might work in a race engine thatspends most of its time at above 3000 RPM. My engine is not a raceengine, nor will it ever be. How can I get the spark to advance thesecond I put my foot down? Wait for the engine to speed up? Endurethe stumble and hesitations?! Hell no! Forget that. I want vacuumadvance again! Should I spring for the SVDA dizzy?I'm just tired of tuning my engine every couple of weekends trying tofind that sweet spot...and never exactly finding it becuase the darndizzy wasn't DESIGNED for the engine! Well, I had to learn the hardway didn't I. I thought the 009 was better becuase it was new, andbecuase it had no vacuum hoses. I ignored all the facts. And then ithit me. I'm an idiot! Well actually, that hit a while back...but Ishould've realized sooner that the 009 is the wrong concept for astock engine. Well...lessons hard learned stick the most!~Anthony

we are finishing up the TB over the weekend (our jig broke), it will ship (we did receive the order) early next week

No sorry I meant electronic ignition. It only cost about $100 then you got a few less things to worry about.

I have a 7lb aluminum flywheel on my car, with no stumble. The stumble is that POS 009, it's not a flywheel issue! The proper ignition timing curve does not have a stumble.
