window regulators

this sucks...

the other day i went to roll down the window in the '66 and the crank spun around like it should but the window didnt roll down. the lifter part of the regulator came off from the bottom of the window. a few days later the passenger side did the same thing. sheesh. well gotta pull the door panels and see whats up. hopefully the lifter part isnt rusted. other than that the '66 is running good... heat works fine.

the '69 sits. : ( still waiting to be completed. ----> wife threatens bodily injury if I buy parts for VW around xmas time.... lol

FWIW, I saw a pair of regulators on ebay yesterday, I think that would include your year.

Do a search on ebay if you're interested... but the person didn't list them as regulators, but rather something like it (can't remember now... exchangers? generators?). Good luck with them.

Window generators? Saaay -- maybe that's why the crank just spins around. "Keep crankin', honey -- we're a-gettin' there!"

They power themselves - they're perpetual motion electric windows.
