I have a 1998 R V40 and I think the heater motor relay has failed.I want to change it but need to know;_
You may have guessed that I have already tried removing one.

Andy, the relay is number 2/8 and is the top left of the three in the fuse/relay box. This is the outer (vertically mounted of the two boxes side by side {left, under dash on LH cars}). I only have a LH wiring book for S/V40 so cannot be more definite about location. If the boxes are on the right side of the dash then the relay has a similar location.
