Removing Steering Wheel Pad when Air Bag (SRS) equipped.

Hi,



Horn switch faulty on '93 240 Classic Wagon with driver's side AIR Bag. Is it safe to remove Steering Wheel pad (in order to fix the horn switch), or does that have to be left to "The Experts?

Long T-30 Torx Bit do not turn key on with Air Bag disconnected or else the SRS light will come on Glenn
