Can the VAG interface sold by Ross-Tech be used on other cars, namely a porsche 944 ?

You will not be able to use the Ross-Tech interfaces on a 87 Porsche. Maybe on a 97 and newer Porsche you could use the one of thier interfaces with that generic OBDII software, that is what the test button is for in the VAG COM software.
