A friend says her Astra keep losing water. The garage pressure tested the engine and couldn't find a leak. She also tried some rad seal stuff. Any ideas what the problem could be? Thanks.

It may be coming out of the heater matrix and evaporating away. This often shows itself as a misting of the windscreen

The problem could be that she's overfilling it and the system is losing the excess as it finds its proper level. if there was a leak you can bet your boots the garage would have loved to do the repair and take her money.
I would check whether the level is visible, sometimes the crud in the header tank makes it difficult to see. Then make sure it's at the right level when cold, then check again when it's cold next day after a journey.

Could be coming from the waterpump and it only leaks when it's running.
Correct antifreeze type and strength is important on these as they run quite high temp. as normal.
A leaking pressure cap can cause a hard to spot leak, and is not fitted when the pressure test is done. My guess for that car would be water pump, but anything is possible: general leak, heater leak, rad leak, head gasket etc. etc.

Low engine oil? And no, I'm not kidding.
