What if I forgot to mark the driveshaft?

I forgot to mark the driveshaft on my 93 Mustang GT before removing it.

I found what I believe is the original yellow marking on the pinion, but I can not find any yellow marking on the shaft or u joint.

Are there any other markings on the driveshaft or u joint that indicate the proper orientation?

Does it really matter?

TIA

Steve

While it is good to replace the driveshaft in its original location it is not entirely neccesary. You should be able to see the original outline of the yolk on the face of the pinion so you will have a 50/50 chance of getting it back to its original orientation. I wouldn't loose any sleep over this however

also look at it this way -

it can only go on a total of 4 different ways

so if you get a bad vibe, just experiment
