92 Integra - Heater Blower stopped NOT resistor!

I bought Goodyear Assurance TripleTred for my Acura Vigor (205-60-15) and love them! I passed Toronto winter without a problem. Cornering in dry is great, never hear a squeal from these tires and when it rains or pours, it sticks to the pavement no problem. I paid 123$CAN/tire but it was worth every penny. The tranny isn't a lemon, but it's not perfect either.

Not to worry you, but it would be a good idea to find out what is going on. My son's ancient Toyota started doing that, and it went a month or so without symptoms until it threw a rod on a long freeway hill climb. But we had talked it over when the light first appeared and decided whatever the problem was it would be more work to fix than the car was worth ($200 or so).

Putting a guage in place of the sender will tell you how close to the edge you are dancing, or if you are not close at all. But you can never safely ignore a warning, because sometime it may not be a false alarm.

I used the 205/50R15 ZE-502's for a month on my Civic (until it was stolen from my driveway) and it was a night and day difference from the stock 175/70R13's. As far as handling, they were very much up to the job. The brakes would fade before the tire, and you had to WORK to get them to let go on a corner.

Well guys, just wanted to thank all of you for your help, i ordered the tail-light seals, and the other windshield selas, I?ll install them this weekend, hopefully, that?ll be it..

Also my not starting problem, seems to be the battery, i bought a new one, and so far so good, but I?ll have to wait a while, cause is not a constant thing, is every once in a while, in the meantime I?ve got some weird noises and stuff coming from what i believe (and remember i?m the dumbest when it comes to cars) is probablyu the power steering, or maybe its pump, not sure but i?ve got a crazzy grinding noise, almost like a real loud boiling noise, that it starts like 3 minutes after the car has been on, or if i turn it on, and I?m in a rush, and don?t have time to warm it up, the second i turn my wheels, it starts.

Hey guys, I?m getting smoke and all kinds of smells from the road, I?ve replaced the A/C dash unit (the buttons) thinking that my old one was the problems, not sending any response to the unit that closes the outside vents, any idea how i can fix this, preferable permanent, i don?t need air coming from the outside AT ALL, so if someone wants to let me know what do i have to do to JBWeld them puppies, I?m open to suggestions, or if someone has a fix even better.

Don't know about the Acura specifically, but HVAC systems are typically engineered to mix a certain amount of outside air under all conditions. IIRC the ratio is around 15 to 30% fresh air for buildings, while auto A/C systems may go as low as 5%. There is a real risk of asphyxiation if there is no fresh air added, even with just one human in a sealed car.

But how about - some vent hoods over ranges don't vent to the outside, but recirculate room air through flat activated charcoal filters. Maybe you can find a way to plumb one of those into the outside air intake. For the location and "what a dumb idea" responses I'll defer to the people familiar with your... what model/year is that?

Anyone knows where i can pick up an owners manual for a 99 Acura TL for cheap the dealer is asking almost 70 bucks for it.

What's the best I can hope to pay for a TSX MT without Navi? Several dealers in the area.

My 2000 TL has 51,000 miles on it. The maintenance is up to date, the most recent being transmission fluid change that I had done at the dealer. I also responded to the recall which added a jet tube to the transmission to lubricate 2nd gear. Pressing ever so gently on the gas under light loads (say to maintain speed on a flat road), the car bucks slightly. It stops immediately if I take my foot off the gas or press harder. Otherwise, everything is normal. Is this a sign of transmission trouble or do I need to get a tune up or the injectors cleaned? The dealer could really take me for a ride on this one...

Could be a lot of things. But your right, probebly the fuelinjectors being blocked a bit. At your local garange you can get some fuel additives that could clear it. Also might consider some new spark plugs. The cost nothing (like 1 to

The transmission failures that I have seen reported do not have this symptom.

Every time my 2000 TL (currently at 60,000 miles) has run rough, the dealer has recommended the same cure - run a couple of tanks of Chevron through it or add a bottle of techron to the gas. It seems to also run well with Quick Trip. I have found that a good run on the highway of a hundred miles or so at 70-80 mph seems to clean it out.

The spark plugs are not due for replacement until 105,000 miles, so I doubt that they are the problem.

Integra GS 1991 The A/C has worked well for 14 years but this spring it decided to retire. I don't agree and would like to have it run one more year. Usually when I push the AC ON with the blower running, the r.p.m. goes a bit down, an indication that the clutch as engaged and the compressor is loading the engine. Now there is no change if I press the A/C ( the green light on the AC button comes ON) and the air temperature isn't cold. I have checked the compressor belt and it looks OK and it is running but I can't tell if the compressor is also running. I have 2 questions :
