I have a 2000 S-10 reg cab with the 4cyl. Heater fan does not run. checked fuses and they are fine. after checking the fan did run last night. But this morning wouldn't run again. Then about 20 miles into it it ran for a while and then quit again. Any ideas.

On my '92 S10, the fan would only run at the lower speeds until the vehicle had warmed up sufficiently.. I assumed that it was built into the design..

Yeah, apply +12V directly to the fan off the battery and see if she fires up. If it does, fan is likely fine and it's a climate control module/wiring issue. If it doesn't fire right up the fan is shot.
