It's under warranty. Take it in and let THEM piss with it. Probably the only good point of owning a new vehicle is the bumper-to-bumper warranty for things like this.

Yeah but that's a lot of hassle too. A full day in the shop, having to find a ride to and from work, blah blah blah, oil on your seats and floormats... it just ain't worth it.

Joe- This is from memory on my 02, but maybe it will apply:

- Remove "sail" panel (behind side mirror)

- Pop out window/door lock control panel and unplug

- Pop out cover behind door open handle

- Remove screws behind door open handle panel, (window/door lock control panel - maybe), and at the very bottom of the door panel

- Using a GM panel puller (or carefully with a flat head screw driver, pry the panel off starting at the bottom.

- Then just LIFT. There is a lip at the top of the panel that hangs on at the top of the door where the window goes down.

Good luck, and be very patient. It's easy to break those clips.

You'll need to take the door panel off. It's not that hard to take off at all. Remove a screw that is on the latch end of the door, remove the bezel around the door handles, if I remember there is a screw under there somewhere, and there is also a screw holding the panel on behind the power window switch assembly. The rest of it is just held on with plasitc clips. I had to remove my panels when I replaced my door handles.

Perhaps "kudos" for the door panel but a "shame on you" for making the speaker cover part of the door. Next they will bolt the hood down.
