How do I check the service engine soon diagnostic codes on a 2000 Dodge Caravan. I thought it was turn the key to the on position and off 3 times, but I get nothing with this.

That's the way it was on pre-1996 autos, with the DRB system. 1996 at later autos have the ODB system. You will need a scan tool to get the codes.
