Shifting needle stuck

I just bought this 88 dodge d-250. they said it had a fuel injected 360



but that year was 318. The shifting needle that tells you what gear you



are in stuck in the park gear but you can move the gears how can i fix that???? thanks

There is usually a cable that moves the indicator. It moves to the "park" position if there is not any tension on it. If you have a column mounted gear selector, this is most likely the problem. It has either come off, or is broken.

You should be able to check it by lowering the steering column.
