Roadsure. Just paid =A3163 Fully Comp for a 1985 Capri 2.8i with 5000=20 miles. Got agreed value for it for =A32000 and free RAC breakdown=20 recovery.

That sounds expensive to me, granted my cars are probably less "desirable", but I pay £91 comp unlimited mileage on my Elf and A40 - that is two cars on one policy - with Footman James. And Firebond insured my Fiat 126 (sold this week) for just £52.50, comp, unlimited. Both current premiums.

Shop around. A Sprite shouldn't cost much to insure.

How current? My Triumph Vitesse has crept up to 126 pounds with FJ, renewed last month. Fully comp + breakdown cover, unlimited mileage, garaged, low crime area, etc.

Well, yes, ok, current in that they haven't run out yet. I'm expecting my renewal notice any day now!
