find out the code, then report back.
can get codes read for free at may auto parts stores. or you can buy a reader at sears or walmart for less than your dealer will charge.
depending on the fault, you could be damaging the catalyst continuing to drive in this condition - very expensive.

First thing to check is if the gas tank filler cap is on tight. Then, get those codes read at Auto Zone or some other parts house (free), as others have suggested.
