Here is one of my sites that I am on with 2 new pics with My newly designed front bumper with endo/stinger & front hood guard. I also added a Flat tube fender by Metal Fusion then I upgraded the fenders with added parts to it. If you notice I also added a welded roll trail cage by Poison Spyder & I also added extra side, rear bars & added gussets to it.

I like seeing the fab work. Did you bend/weld your own stinger?
What is that thing on the front end and what is it used for?
Thanks,
Bill
They call that a "stinger", then help prevent front end damage in the case of a roll over. I have also seen them prevent summersaults when things got too steep.
Hi & Thanks, Well I had a place who bends my tubes & my buddy welded it together & we both cut & fabricated together but, I designed it though. As for the front hoop also known as an Endo-Stinger hoop. That aids for a few things 1st: on a very steep incline a jeep may want to flip forward calling that an Endo. The hoop will aid by pushing the jeepback to stable ground. 2nd: in a roll-over situation it will aid to protect the hood & also making it easy to rollback on all 4 tires. I also added a hoodguard for extra protection incase of a roll it will protect my radiator so I can hopefully get back home. If you noticed I didn't tie in/weld in the hoodguard to the tubefender intime i'll do that for extra support. Note: Having armor/protection for yourself, your passangers & your jeep is the best investment to do! Please buckle up & drive safely!
Like your flat fenders, first time I've seen someone put the sidemarker in front as a turn signal, unique.
I just installed a set of Poison Spyder tube fenders on my YJ. It was a lot of fun to install them. Still need to rig up some form of sidemarkers but haven't figure out how to do it yet.
Definitely not a good idea unless they are protected - as SoK66 did. All three times I took my CJ7 out in September/October I smashed at least one flare/fender. I probably should have invested in a front bumper like that that protects that spot. Would have come in handy for my innate ability to crush my fender wells somehow.
