Horn Relay location - 94 Cherokee

Hi All,

The horn has gone out on my 94. 12v directly to horn gives me a nice strong beep. Unplugging the horn wire, and then depressing the button gives me no click, making me think it is the relay.

Ran by the autoparts store today, and picked up a new relay. This is the part they gave me:

Got home and pulled the lower dash panel. This is what I saw:

As you can see in the photo above, there appears to be only one relay present, and it is a different size than the one provided by Autozone.

Here is where the plot thickens. I found a relay similar to the one from the Autoparts store in the car several weeks ago. I'd recently replaced an AC relay, and so thought maybe it was that one, but now I'm not so sure that I didn't knock the horn relay loose when I was fixing the AC.

The cherokee is a completely stock 5 speed model, with no frills. No rear wiper, no power windows or locks.

Can anyone tell me

1) Did they sell me the correct part? 2) If I have the right replacement part, where the horn relay should go in this fuse block for a 94 cherokee? The haynes manual is useless on this point.

Thanks very much.

S.

Figured it out. I had knocked the old relay off the board during my repair of the AC. Decided I'd take my chances, and just plug the new relay into the open slots. I got it on the first try. It went in the first position in the same row as the existing relay (the row without the red relay slots). Horn is now operational.

Thanks.
