What did you end up with, a "76 CJ5? It probably never had a sway bar.

Was it only an option in '76? From what I read so far they just talk about there being one up front and not in the rear and never mention that it might just not have one. I'm not worried about it, really. It seems to drive ok on the road for me.

Ever since I installed my sway bar disco's I think I've re-connected the swaybar ONCE.
I do notice a small bit of body roll in quick cornering, but with a 13" wider stance since installing my new axles, I don't feel in danger of rolling over one bit.
I don't use my sway bar, either. It is still attached to the vehicle (for the time being) but there haven't been links on it for months. I will take it off next time I have it on the rack.
